Ten Coventry drivers banned in a crackdown. One person arrested for immigration offences during the operation.

Cops teamed up with a road safety group, calling it a Multi-Agency Road Safety Operation. It all went down on February 20th, a Thursday. They checked twenty-two vehicles including cars, vans, and motorbikes.
Ten people lost their driving privileges because the vehicles had urgent safety problems. Sixteen drivers got reported too, although the police didn’t say what they did wrong. They seized two uninsured vehicles as well. One person was arrested for immigration issues.
Police want to make Coventry roads safer with fewer injuries and deaths. They asked for public help with this goal, requesting people to call 101 to report incidents.
West Midlands Police says roads should be safe and has Operation Snap for this purpose. They want people to send them videos if you spot bad driving; dashcams and phones work.
