Couple’s £157k BMW Found Crashed in Ditch After Airport Meet and Greet
They left their BMW at Manchester Airport before going on vacation in the Czech Republic. Upon their return, they waited 45 minutes for the car. The parking company then said the car had been in an accident and told the couple to take a taxi home. The company did not apologize or say where the car was.
Their daughter eventually explained what happened, revealing that the company didn’t provide the car’s location. Frustrated, the couple called the police, who gave them the location.
The couple found their BMW in a ditch near Mill Lane and Castle Mill Lane in Ashley, Cheshire, close to the airport. The family really loved the BMW and were very upset about the damage, but the company did not seem to care.
When the Manchester Evening News contacted the parking firm, a man said the office would call back, but no one did. An email also received no reply.
Cheshire Police knew about the incident because Greater Manchester Police told them about it. A BMW crashed into a hedge on Mill Lane on February 22nd at 1:53 PM. Police said no one was hurt, and the car was taken away. GMP confirmed officers found a car in a ditch, and the driver passed a breath test; nobody got arrested, and police did not mention another car.
