A couple got a refund on a mansion after discovering a moth infestation behind walls and on toothbrushes.

Iya Patarkatsishvili and her husband bought the house in 2019 for £32.5 million and it included a pool, gym, and even a wine room.
Soon after moving in, they saw many moths in their wine and on toothbrushes. They also ate clothes, leading the couple to sue the seller to undo the deal.
The seller said he knew nothing about moths and claimed no hidden problems existed.
However, the judge found he lied because reports showed moths before the sale.
The seller had renovated the house for over £10 million. The judge said he gave false information and knew about the moth problem because he wanted to sell the house.
The judge thought the seller hoped the moths disappeared and risked being wrong to complete the sale. He knew that telling the truth would risk ending things.
The judge said the couple gets money back, less a bit for the time they lived there. They also get money for taxes and moth control, as well as £15,000 for damaged clothes.
Iya is the daughter of a super-rich man who was the richest guy in Georgia. He died in 2008 and was worth billions.
