Paul Railton, a Durham man, received over eight years for distributing £200k+ worth of cocaine.

Paul, also called Paul Richardson, is 38. He got arrested in 2020. Police interviewed him and his network. He admitted guilt to drug conspiracy charges, and the court held him in custody.
Last week, he went to Durham Crown Court. The court sentenced him to eight years, with an extra four months for his part in the drug ring.
Police consider this a win, as drug supply hurts local areas and causes things like violence. Drug money funds other crimes, including guns and slavery.
Durham police will keep fighting drug crimes and will target those who bring drugs. They work with Operation Sentinel, which targets crime across the area.
