Dudley Council denies formal complaints about a phone mast in Wollescote, despite claims of resident safety concerns.

Dudley Council claims they got no formal complaint. A local councillor says this isn’t true. He says people raised worries many times. The mast got approved back in 2022.
The councillor, Ethan Stafford, wants action. He says noise and fumes affect the park. Volunteers saw a tree die near the generator. Fencing is broken, exposing cables.
Stafford says he told the Parks Team and Ernest Stevens Trust. Paul Bradley is a council member. He says they’ll check if they get a complaint and will investigate any breach of planning rules.
Julia Marks leads the friends of Wollescote Park group. She thinks the fumes are a threat and exposed cables are also a safety risk to residents.
Bradley promises to contact the mast company. Stafford wants the generator gone faster. He asks for a removal date soon.
