Grimsby council is exploring a potential new bus lane on Cleethorpe Road and seeks public feedback.

The council says they haven’t decided anything yet. It’s just an idea right now. Councillor Aisthorpe says officials spoke to businesses, discussing parking and deliveries.
Businesses got a letter and a plan. They could share their thoughts by February 27. The feedback helps the council decide what to do next. No final choices happened yet.
The council says suggestions from people matter and they will consider all comments. People can send their thoughts to transport@nelincs.gov.uk.
To build the bus lane, the council needs a traffic order. This order requires a formal community consultation. Senior officials review these proposed orders at meetings.
The council plans several traffic orders including one covering parking on Freeman Street. They will discuss that in March. The Cleethorpe Road bus lane is not on their plan yet.
