Hey, guess what happened last year? Some people camped outside a pub. It was Dropkick Murphys in Edinburgh before St. Patrick’s Day. The pub staff found them in tents. This March, the council contacted the pub.

They had a special request for customers. Dropkick Murphys shared the plea online. The council asked them to say no overnight camping. People want to be first in line. The pub posted about it on Facebook.

Last year’s photos show tents outside the pub. One tent was blue, the other pink. “PADDY’S DAY 24” was written on the pink one. It had green, white, and orange bunting.

Cleaners saw the campers arriving early. Another photo showed two people wearing Guinness hats. They hid their faces. A bottle of cider sat near their feet too. The manager offered them tea and sausages.

He joked about letting them sleep at his house. He asked people not to camp this year. Locals thought the campers were funny. One person praised their dedication to St. Patrick. Another admired their commitment.

Dropkick Murphys is in Edinburgh’s Old Town. Last year, staff gave out free sausage rolls. People loved them. They waited in line. They wore Irish hats.
