Beloved local restaurant Spice Indian Cuisine in Carrigaline closes due to rising costs after serving for over a decade.

Sulov Bhuyan owns Spice Indian Cuisine. He said running costs got too high. The restaurant opened back in 2008. Covid made things really tough, Sulov explained, and they just could not fully recover.
He wants to thank his staff and customers. He appreciates their support and loyalty. Twenty years felt like an incredible ride. They had joy, excitement, and learned much. Sulov shared a post on social media about the closure.
He thanked everyone involved over the decade. Many customers sent their best wishes and one called it the best Indian in Cork. They wished Sulov well for the future and thanked him for the great food.
Other restaurants are also facing closures. This affects the whole county. Still, some new places appear. Midleton had many closures last year. Now, a new burger place opened there, and they sold lots of burgers.
The new place is called Bó Burger. They offer burgers, tapas, and sharing boards. They source their ingredients locally. For example, they buy from Jim Crowley’s butchers. They also get bread from Cuthbert’s Bakery.
