Popular Cork walk targeted with sharp objects. Dog owners warned of danger at Moanbaun Woods entrance.

A dog walker first saw the scattered metal objects and posted a warning online, including a picture of the nails and tacks, to alert others to this danger.
The post went on the Glanmire Noticeboard, and officials from Coilte responded quickly by going to the site and removing the dangerous items.
Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened, and locals worry someone is targeting walkers, possibly disliking dog owners specifically, with the goal of causing harm.
Nails and tacks were spread on the ground with dog paw prints near the danger, showing animals use the area; locals are angry about this event.
People plan to install hidden cameras to record movement nearby, hoping to catch the person responsible and possibly identify them for prosecution.
