Community to line streets for Hope Gordon’s final journey to Adambrae Cemetery after tragic death.

The family will have a private service at Co-op Funeralcare. They call the day “Hope’s Day.” The family wants people to line the streets that lead to Adambrae Cemetery in Livingston. Hope travels by horse-drawn carriage.
Co-op Funeralcare posted details online, titling the post “Hope’s final journey”. Hope leaves the funeral home around 12:45 p.m. to go to her final resting place. The family appreciates community support and asks people to line the route.
Another message gave the exact cemetery route: Exit the funeral home and turn left, continue up Almondvale East Road, then turn right at the mini-roundabout. Go along Dedridge East Road, straight over another roundabout, then take Dedridge West Road and Dedridge North Road and pass over a roundabout into Adambrae.
They expect to reach the cemetery around 1:15 p.m. Family friend Melanie Wheeldon started a fundraiser to help cover the costs of “Hope’s Day.” It raised over £10,000 so far, exceeding the original goal of £2,000.
Melanie said their hearts shattered on January 20 when news broke of Hope’s tragic murder. Hope was vibrant and loving, with a kind spirit, who loved animals. Her life ended far too soon, leaving a void in many hearts.
