A Coatbridge criminal, ironically named Crook, stole booze from a masonic hall and ransacked an office, admitting to the crimes.

Crook stole about £1500 worth of booze from a masonic hall after robbing an office. He’s been in trouble before, with 66 convictions over 30 years.
He admitted to breaking into TES Electrical last February, which was located on Hornock Road. He also admitted raiding Lodge St Andrew on Wood Street while he was out on bail.
The prosecutor said CCTV saw Crook climbing a fence at the electrical company, where he stayed for over an hour. He stole cash, cards, and keys, also causing about £7000 in damage. Police recognized Crook on the video.
A few days later, he hit the masonic hall and stole alcohol from a locked room. His DNA was found on a door. The sheriff postponed his sentence until next month for background reports.
Crook, who has been in custody, was granted bail by the sheriff. The sheriff wants to see if Crook behaves, as He is already on a community order and the sheriff wants to stop Crook’s repeat offenses. All sentencing options are still possible.
Crook’s lawyer said it’s up to Crook now. He needs to improve and earn the court’s trust.
