Fireworks exploded after a van was set on fire in Clydebank, causing evacuations. Police investigate.

Emergency services went to Braes Avenue in Clydebank at 1 AM on Sunday, February 23rd, responding to the intentional fire. They evacuated buildings and closed roads as safety measures. Crews put out the fire.
Videos showed a large fire with fireworks exploding everywhere, accompanied by loud explosions. Luckily, no one got hurt. Detectives now ask people for clues.
Someone saw a man running towards the canal path. Police want information to find him. The man is white, in his 30s, and thin, with a shaved head, wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark pants.
Detective Constable Andrew Baldacci wants information and asks anyone knowing the man to contact them. He also wants to hear from witnesses and urges people with CCTV or dashcam footage to check it and report anything relevant to police.
