A new M&S Foodhall is opening in Cheltenham. It will be at the Centrum Retail Park, off Tewkesbury Road. The opening date is Wednesday, April 9.

The store occupies a 15,000 square foot space. It features fresh produce from Select Farm partners. Expect a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening, and new spring treats for families will be available.

Percy Pig will make a special appearance, and M&S promises “lovely surprises” for shoppers that day. Ali Ivery, the M&S Regional Manager, said they are excited to open the new store. The new Foodhall is bigger and better, she explained.

The new Foodhall offers a wider range of M&S food, as the store is 50% larger than the previous one. A new bakery will offer fresh bread and pastries. M&S has a long history in Cheltenham and encourages customers to join the celebration

A limited-edition Easter Colin cake arrives. Flossy the Highland Cow is a new friend. Easter eggs with decadent fillings are coming, and hot cross buns with new flavors debut there. Mini Millionaires buns contain salted caramel fudge, with dark and blond chocolate.

The bakery provides takeaway coffee. Collection Sourdough bread uses a 30-hour process. Customers can choose cheeses from the cheese barge, and use Click & Collect for online orders.

The new M&S is between Dunelm and The Range. This Foodhall replaces the one closed last June, which was across the road. The plan was always to move to a larger space.

The previous Foodhall closed in June 2024, and the M&S Home store next door closed last Easter. Both closures paved the way for this new, bigger store.
