Caregiver accused of assaulting a patient in 2022. Pleaded not guilty. Case moves to crown court; hearing set for March 13.

Eniola Oladunjoye allegedly bruised her ear while he cared for her in 2022. The 52-year-old was in court this week, where he faced an assault charge causing harm.
Oladunjoye lives on West Farm Avenue. He pleaded not guilty to the charge, only confirming his name, birth date, and address. The prosecutor said the case suits the court, mentioning a crown court sentence if found guilty.
The judge agreed with the prosecutor and, since Oladunjoye wants a judge and jury, the judge told him his case moves to crown court.
The next hearing is March 13 at 10 a.m. It’s in the same building, but upstairs, and he must attend court then.
The judge said failure to show up risks arrest and an additional charge. He will enter a plea again at that hearing.
Oladunjoye got bail with conditions. He must keep his address updated and matching what he told the court.
