Fire broke out at a caravan park near Porthcawl. Loud bang and black smoke reported. Emergency services responded.

Firefighters went to the caravan park after a call just after 1 PM on Saturday, March 1. Four fire engines arrived, confirmed by South Wales Fire and Rescue. Ambulances also went, as confirmed by the Welsh Ambulance Service, though they could not share more details.
Police officers were also present at the scene. Black smoke rose near Happy Valley Caravan Park, visible to people from Newton Beach. An air ambulance flew around above it.
