A car crashed in Bootle, flipping into a yard. Police went to Aintree Road around 7:30 PM on Sunday, February 23. The road closed after the car crash.

Police put up a large area with tape. This happened east of the Aintree Road circle. Traffic stopped on Aintree Road and Hornby Road between the circle and Rice Lane.

Hornby Road is still shut today, February 24. Traffic goes from Southport Road to A59 Rice Lane, but it moves okay now. Reporters saw many cordons on Hornby Road and one police car stayed there.

Blue tarpaulin covered the crashed car, which sat inside a police cordon. A broken lamppost lay on the road. A garden’s brick wall was damaged too.

The day before, reporters found a black Audi flipped over on the home’s driveway. According to the police, the car’s driver had only small injuries. Police said the crash happened around 7:25 PM.

A car went off Aintree Road and hit a yard. Emergency workers went there fast. Luckily, nobody got badly hurt. The driver went to a hospital for checks.

Police are figuring out what happened. They ask people with info to call 101, using log number 681 from February 23. You can also message @MerPolCC.
