A Land Rover Discovery was deliberately torched near the A90 bypass in Peterhead. Police are appealing for information.

It was a brown Land Rover Discovery, located near the Old Buchan Railway Line and by the A90 Peterhead bypass, close to the Howe O’ Buchan Roundabout.
Firefighters put out the fire quickly, responding to a police call around 3:30 AM on February 14. Police suspect the fire was set intentionally, noting that nobody was inside the Land Rover at the time.
Police Constable Morgan Irvine is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information to come forward. “Did you see something? Help them figure it out,” he said.
Were you driving on the A90 between Howe O’ Buchan Roundabout and North Road late Thursday or very early Friday? If so, police request you check your dash-cam footage.
