A car struck a house in Thurmaston, Leicestershire. Emergency services responded, and the driver received treatment.

The fire crew got there super fast. The car damaged the house’s brickwork a bit. Medics treated the driver right then, and police shared that nobody got hurt.
Firefighters made the car safe and handed things over to the police. That happened at 4:03 pm. Police have not arrested anyone due to that crash.
Today seemed like a bad day for driving. There was a four-car crash on the M1 slip road near Fosse Park at 7 am. This blocked a lane, and traffic backed up for four miles, delaying northbound drivers.
The M69 also had long backups. A person got hit by a car on the A47 at 7:30 am near Narborough Road in Leicester. Around 1 pm, two cars crashed at a supermarket entrance, also on Narborough Road, causing even more traffic delays.
