A thief was caught on camera stripping a car of its front grille in just 20 seconds on Calshot Road.
The theft happened late at night. It was around 10:47 PM. This happened on Monday, February 10th. The video shows a hooded person. They were walking back and forth, looking around carefully.
They then walked toward the car. They took a tool from their pocket and worked on the car’s front. It took about 20 seconds. They pulled off the radiator grille and quickly left.
The car’s owner hopes to find them. They shared the video. This is called car cannibalism. Thieves steal parts, not whole cars.
Tracker Network U.K. explained this. They said cars are stripped where they sit. This method is fast and easier. Criminals do not need storage.
