A car was found abandoned on Kinsale Road Roundabout disrupting traffic in Cork. The incident remains unexplained.

The car was abandoned on the grassy area near the Turner’s Cross turnoffs. This happened late last night or early this morning. People think it hit a curb by the lights before crashing into a tree.
The driver just left the car and walked away, without even closing the door! TII crews removed the car around 1 p.m. earlier today.
Pictures spread online. People joked about the parking skills, of course. The police said they knew nothing about a crash. TII was contacted for more info.
This is different from usual South Ring problems, where traffic jams often happen due to crashes. Luckily, this didn’t affect the usual rush hour traffic, but it did distract drivers passing by.
It is not Munster’s worst parking mishap ever, though. Last summer, someone wedged a car sideways on a Kerry road!
That photo went viral online, too. It was on the Slea Head Drive near Dingle, an area with awesome Blasket and Skellig views. Locals say that road is dangerous, with sharp turns and tourist buses.
