First, police searched a building in Greenock. Someone reported cannabis growing there. It was on Mackenzie Street. This happened around 11:50 AM on Tuesday. They discovered many plants, about 200, with an estimated value of £120,000. The building was near James Watt Dock Marina. They are still trying to find who grew it.

Then, around 12:45 PM, police raided a place in Blackburn, Aberdeenshire, on Tradlin Circle. This time, there were about 278 plants! The drugs were worth about £200,000. Four men got arrested; their ages are 42, 34, 30, and 27. They will appear in court later.

A police sergeant thanked the public, saying public tips made it possible. He also stated they prioritize serious crime and want to stop criminal activity. Public help is very important. Another sergeant spoke about the Greenock raid, saying it was a big discovery.
