Driver arrested for drugs leads police to house with over 200 cannabis plants, sparking more arrests.

The driver was acting strangely and failed a roadside drug test. Police found a lot of cannabis in the car and arrested the 30-year-old driver. He might have been selling drugs.
The police checked out two houses and a second car parked near one of the houses. One house was near Noel Street.
They found a huge cannabis farm there! It spread across three floors, with over 200 plants. The electricity was bypassed, creating a big fire hazard.
The other house was on Chadwick Road, close to the arrest. Police found no drugs there but seized cash and an iPhone. The iPhone will be examined.
More cannabis was in the parked car, and they suspected Class A drugs. This led to three more arrests: a 27-year-old man and two women, aged 24 and 50.
One officer, PC Dan Bird, said it shows why they stay alert and hopes it reassures the public. Police want safe roads and to stop drug crime. He asks people to report drunk or drugged drivers by calling the police or Crimestoppers.
Also, report any suspected drug farms where you live. Police will take action.
