Police uncovered a cannabis farm, hand axe and weapons in Little Hulton as part of an organized crime crackdown, one man arrested.

Police searched places on Wallbrook and Chedworth Crescent. They discovered many cannabis plants, and growing equipment was also there. Plus, they even found a hand-axe.
Cops found illegal stuff and knives, too. This all happened at Chedworth Crescent. A 31-year-old man got arrested; they suspect him of growing cannabis and also that he may have stolen electricity.
He had an offensive weapon, too. He got released on bail, and police are still investigating.
They are targeting all kinds of crime, including anti-social behavior as well. The police are working with the council and also partner with housing officials.
Since January, they’ve collected about 100 weapons. Eighteen more came in last week. People turned them in during knife amnesties.
Sergeant Helen Matthews spoke about the operation. She said they seize dangerous stuff and also remind criminals they are watching. Acting on tips helps them do their work.
