Cambridgeshire roads will get over £59 million this year. The money is for roads, paths, bridges, and walkways. The County Council plans how to spend the funds, and they have also listed roads for major repairs in 2025/26.

The council will use some funds for preventative work to stop potholes from forming early. They will spend over £28.7 million on road work while pathways and cycleways will get £7.2 million for repairs.

Bridge work is allocated £3.1 million, and maintaining walkways needs £735,000. One council member felt that the allocation for sign and line maintenance was too low. The budget includes £500,000 for sign replacement.

Another council member also voiced concerns about signs, believing the reported amount was insufficient. Officials clarified that the budget has another £350,000 available for this purpose. Below is a list of prioritized road repairs including the associated costs for each.

Mill Road in Cambridge will receive £650,000 for resurfacing, covering the section from Great Eastern Street to Brooks Road. Mill Road will receive an additional £350,000 from Mortimer Road to the community center. Parker Street is allocated £75,000 for resurfacing.

Jesus Lane’s roundabout will get £210,000 for road work. East Road receives £270,000 for resurfacing work as well. Cherry Hinton Road is assigned £220,000 in funding for roadwork. Gonville Place is slated to receive £272,000 for resurfacing.

Round Church Street will receive £150,000 for the entire road. The Hauxton Road roundabout is allocated £360,000 to fix the worst sections. The Gallery in Ely gets resurfacing for £68,000.

Mildenhall Road in Isleham is allocated £232,000 for road work covering a section to the county line. Broad Street in Ely receives £140,000 for resurfacing. Hundred Foot Bank in Little Downham is set to receive £862,000.

Stuntney Causeway gets £132,000 for road resurfacing. Ponts Hill in Littleport receives £102,000. Great Fen Road in Soham will get £830,000. Kings Avenue in Ely will cost £300,000 for resurfacing.

High Street in Chatteris is allocated £145,000 for resurfacing, and Norwich Road in Wisbech receives £560,000. Station Road in Manea gets £465,000 for resurfacing work, while Creek Road in March will receive £350,000.

Bridge Street in Chatteris is allocated £320,000. Coates Road gets £700,000 for resurfacing work. Gorefield Road in Leverington gets £500,000. Ramnoth Road in Wisbech is assigned £300,000.

Harolds Bank in Gorefield will get £480,000 for road work. Wimblington Road in Manea is allocated £780,000. Ollard Avenue in Wisbech will get £100,000. St Michaels Avenue in Wisbech will be £380,000.

Sixteen Foot Bank in Chatteris will receive £1,261,300 for repairs. Floods Ferry Road in Doddington will cost £1,000,000. City Road in March is allocated £175,000 for resurfacing work with Black Drove in Murrow getting £550,000.

Silvers Lane in Parson Drove gets £150,000 for road work; Hooks Road in Wimblington gets £90,000 for repairs; and Cants Drove in Murrow will get £160,000 for road work.

Green End Road in Sawtry gets £640,000, while Dovecote Lane in Yaxley gets £176,000 for road resurfacing. Mill Road in Wistow will receive £280,000 in funds. Long Drove in Holme will get £1,100,000 for recycling.

Main Street in Yaxley will gets £110,000 for road resurfacing. Spittals Way in The Stukeleys will cost £1,260,000. Cambridge Road in Godmanchester will be £410,000. Rideaway in Hemingford Abbots will cost £330,000.

Forty Foot Bank in Ramsey Forty Foot is allocated £250,000. Barham Road in Buckworth needs £50,000 for resurfacing.

Toseland Road in Croxton has £200,000 set aside. High Street in Cottenham is allocated £470,000 in funding. Earith Road in Willingham receives £630,000 for road work. Tunwells Lane in Great Shelford needs £460,000.

Causeway in Pampisford receives £400,000 for resurfacing. Main Street in Shudy Camps gets £290,000 in funds. London Road in Harston has £315,000 for resurfacing work. Cambourne Road in Cambourne will need £160,000.

Clayhithe Road in Waterbeach needs £65,000 for road work. High Street in Graveley will cost £110,000 to resurface.
