Camberley will get a new Post Office on April 23 after the previous one closed in February. It’s set to offer increased service hours.

The old post office closed on February 8. It was inside the WHSmith store at 51-53, GU15 3RB. The store shut its doors, taking the post office with it.
A new post office opens on April 23. Find it at 3A High Street, GU15 3QU. That’s near the A30 end of the street. An experienced postmaster will run it, and he’s also opening a convenience store there.
They’ll offer 92 hours of service each week, way more than before. Regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Sunday hours are 9 AM to 5 PM. Some services have shorter hours, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
The Post Office wants to open quickly, moving ahead with their plans now. You can still share feedback about accesses; the feedback period closes on March 13. Share your thoughts online at postofficeviews.co.uk, using branch code 145900.
They want to hear about access to the building and inside the space. The entrance will be level for easy access. They will have low counters too. A writing desk and hearing loops will also be there.
It will be a main post office offering the same services. Expect cash withdrawals and DPD services. Travel insurance remains available as well.
