A woman was sexually assaulted on a bus in Bolton. Police seek a key witness to come forward. Incident occurred January 22.

The assault happened in the morning after the woman boarded at Bolton Interchange between 7:15 am and 7:20 am. A man and woman boarded at the next stop.
The man sat next to the victim on the bus, while the other woman sat across from them. As the bus moved, the man assaulted the victim, and the woman across the aisle witnessed this.
She helped the victim as the man left, and then passengers transferred to another bus. The police need to speak to the helpful woman and consider her a key witness.
