Mowgli Bristol marks its anniversary raising £10,000 for Children’s Hospice South West, showcasing a commitment to local charities.

Nisha Katona created Mowgli in 2014. Her parents were Indian immigrant doctors. She quit law after twenty years and wanted to share real Indian food.
The first Mowgli was in Liverpool. It opened on Bold Street in 2014. Now, twenty-five restaurants exist, with Stratford being the newest location.
Each Mowgli helps a local charity. Mowgli Bristol supports the Children’s Hospice South West and has been their partner for a year. Diners can add £1 to their bill, with these donations going to The Mowgli Trust.
The Trust aids the house charity and also supports global projects. One project helps people and elephants in Assam. The Mowgli Trust has raised over £2 million and supports many different charities.
Abbey Hides manages Mowgli Charities and thanked the generous guests. The Trust helps children’s hospices and hospitals as well as cancer charities in the UK. Children’s Hospice South West is part of the Mowgli family.
Amanda Gallagher works for the CHSW. She said they are happy about the support, adding that raising £10,000 in one year is amazing because the money helps local families.
