Yousefali said he had a loaded gun tucked in his pants. Police also found a machete by Meti’s seat, near the car door. This happened after they approached the car.
Police then found drug-filled bags holding cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, and ketamine. Police said the drugs were worth about £6,000. Yousefali and Meti were arrested right away.
Yousefali had no permanent address. Meti was from London. Both admitted guilt to all charges, including intent to sell class A and class B drugs. The A drugs were cocaine, MDMA, and 2C-B; ketamine and cannabis were the B drugs.
Yousefali also admitted to gun charges. He had a short firearm. He possessed a loaded gun and ammo publicly and was banned from owning guns for five years.
Meti admitted to having a knife in public and driving without insurance. Both men admitted guilt on November 22, 2024, and were jailed until sentencing.
The court sentenced them on February 4. Yousefali got eight years and nine months. Meti received a four-year prison sentence. A detective said they could have hurt many people.
The detective added they carried a lot of drugs headed for Bristol streets, targeting people enjoying Bristol’s nightlife. Police will keep fighting drug dealers to stop drugs in communities.
