Drop & Go and Short Stay parking costs will increase at Bristol Airport starting next Monday, impacting quick trips.

Using Drop & Go will cost more. It’s rising to £7 for a ten-minute visit. The Short Stay also changes. It will be £7 for up to thirty minutes. This affects quick drop-offs and pick-ups.
Officials said a tax increase caused these higher costs. They also want to encourage more public transport use. The airport aims to reduce traffic and pollution. The airport sees Drop & Go as a major traffic source.
Each drop-off trip creates four journeys, not two. So, they are pushing for eco-friendlier transportation options.
Blue Badge holders get a special deal. They get 40 minutes for £7 at Drop & Go. They must scan their badge when they exit. There’s also free parking by Silver Zone, with a shuttle.
Other parking choices exist at the airport. For longer stays use Silver Zone with a bus. Or, use the Multi-Storey, about 8 minutes away by foot. Meet and greet is another option too.
Buses serve the airport coach park. They provide connections to many places. You can travel to Bristol, Bath, or Weston-super-Mare. They also connect to other regions.
The airport will open a new transport hub this summer. This is a 60-million-pound investment. It’s part of a bigger 400-million-pound project. This will improve access for everyone.
This new hub is large. It will improve bus and coach services. The internal roads will get better. There will be another big parking garage. The airport hopes to serve 12 million passengers.
