Bolton Gala 2025 is on March 15, Saturday. It ends a great year as Town of Culture. You can expect exhibitions and live shows. Family fun and stories will happen, too.

Bolton won the Town of Culture award for 2024. It came with £50,000 for events. The award highlights Bolton’s art and history. The money helped create cultural events.

These events celebrate Bolton’s heritage. Bolton is the fourth Town of Culture. Bury, Stalybridge, and Stockport came before. Andy Burnham started this in 2019.

Bolton had many events during the year. There were workshops, music, films, and a light show. Now, a gala marks the end of activities. It promises family-friendly fun for everyone.

Four art exhibits will be at the gala. Falcon Mill shows local art of all types. ‘Beacons of Bolton’ honors Bolton’s landmarks and people. ‘Documenting Your Community’ shows local photos.

Don Tonge and the public created it. ‘Social Fabric’ will explore Bolton’s cultural story. You can expect entertainment at Victoria Hall, too. Local singers, dancers, and comedians will perform.

Family art sessions will happen with Be Wild Creative. Storytelling happens at the library. Councillor Nadeem Ayub spoke about the event. He said they are ending a great year well.

The event celebrates local talent. It also celebrates the community spirit. He added, he cannot wait to continue Bolton representing creative culture and talent.
