James Teesdale, 31, missing from Cefn Coed Hospital, was found deceased in Stout Bay. The death is not suspicious.

James Teesdale lived on Dillwyn Road in Sketty. He worked as a salesman. He went to Cefn Coed Hospital on November 29. His admission was voluntary due to mental health issues.
Staff reported him missing on December 2, a Monday afternoon. Someone last saw him at 1:46 pm. He was near Gower Road and De-La-Beche Road. Police searched and asked the public for information. They did not find Mr. Teesdale then.
A body was found December 31. A person saw it at Stout Bay in the Vale of Glamorgan at 1:36 pm. The authorities recovered Mr. Teesdale’s body. They took it to Llandough Hospital.
DNA tests identified him. The tests confirmed it was him. A post-mortem exam occurred. The cause of death needs more analysis. Police do not think the death was suspicious.
The coroner, Aled Gruffydd, expressed sympathy. He believes the death’s cause is unknown or not natural. The inquest is postponed. It will resume September 3. They need time to get reports.
