A body was found in Bristol during the search for missing 26 year old Luis Piovesana, who disappeared February 28th
Luis was 26 years old and once worked at Verdo Lounge in Sutton Coldfield. He went missing in Bristol, near his home, early last Friday, February 28th. Teams searched hard for Luis, with his family and friends from Birmingham assisting.
Avon and Somerset Police gave an update, stating that they found a body late Monday night during the search for Luis. While they have not formally identified the body, officers met with Luis’ family and informed them of the news. The police spokesperson confirmed this happened on the evening of March 3rd.
The dive team located a body around 6pm on Monday, searching the River Frome in the Napier Road area of Eastville, Bristol. Detectives have met with the family, but formal identification still needs to happen. They updated Luis’ family and are offering support.
Luis’ sister, Lubjana, known as Lulu, said the family is devastated. She posted a statement on Facebook, saying Luis has been found and sadly passed away. She is grateful for everyone’s support and sorry this happened.
Luis was her little brother, and everyone loved him. She wishes he saw the love, and everyone will remember him.
