A man’s body was found in Kenya. He had been strangled and put in a sack. This happened during the search for a missing Scotsman.

Herdsmen found the body in the Makongo forest, about sixty miles from Nairobi, on Saturday. The family of Campbell Scott have been told, but formal identification is pending.

Campbell Scott, 58, was from Dunfermline. People reported him missing on February 16 after he disappeared from a Nairobi hotel; he left the JW Marriott for a walk.

He was a senior businessman, and colleagues couldn’t reach him by phone. After an hour, a coworker told the hotel, who advised calling the police. He was on a business trip.

Fico released a statement about the missing man, stating that they are working with local partners and Kenyan authorities. Fico also shared thoughts for his family and friends.

The Foreign Office also commented earlier, saying they are helping the missing man’s family and talking with Kenyan police. The man was reported missing in Kenya.
