Gary Thomson jailed for repeatedly calling 999 unnecessarily, violating a court order and hindering emergency services.

But, just six days later, police arrested Gary after he called them ten times in three days, breaking his court order. The 44-year-old admitted his guilt in court, leading to a sentence.
The court sentenced Thomson to 34 weeks in jail. Police shared this news on February 14 and warned others not to do the same. He lived on Mosley Street.
Police Inspector Kathryn McIntyre commented on Thomson’s actions, saying he tied up phone lines and resources. Victims could not reach police when they needed them, highlighting the seriousness of the issue, which the sentence reflects.
Police help people needing real assistance, and wasting their time might hurt someone. Someone doing that behavior could lead to injury or even death.
