The popular half-term funfair returns to Blackburn with 20+ rides, promising fun for all ages at the old Thwaites Brewery site.

This funfair is now in its fourth year. It’s happening on Penny Street and running from February 13 to 23, 1 PM to 9 PM. The old brewery site belongs to the council.
They’re making it a huge fun fair! It has rides for every age, and organizers promise good value. Even the Mayor wants to try the rides!
There are over 20 rides! Some are for thrill-seekers, and some are family favorites, like the Big Wheel. Entry costs £2 to get in, which lets you access rides like Ice Jet.
This year, there’s a new ride called Super Trooper! It is a flying saucer ride. Smilie the Clown will perform, and you can also see magic and balloon art! They even have dinosaurs.
There will be fireworks every Saturday at 8 PM. Arrive early to catch the show, as the organizers have a few surprises too.
Rides require tokens, and tokens cost £1 each. Rides cost two to four tokens.
Marcus Cubbins organizes it. He says they are excited to return and believes they have Britain’s best rides.
