Police arrested Peter Doyle early Sunday, March 2, on Heeley Road, Birmingham. Doyle, aged 47, was caught during a burglary at a Selly Oak business.
Doyle committed crimes in January and February. He targeted businesses with burglaries and shop thefts, and faced charges for these thefts and burglaries.
Doyle went to court on Monday, March 3, where he admitted to five total offenses. He received a 12-month jail sentence.
City center team officers investigated the crimes. They worked with the Central BID partnership and got CCTV images of the offenses.
