A boy, fifteen years old, got stabbed near a park in Birmingham. The attack happened near Morris Park in Alum Rock. Police closed off the area to investigate. This happened on Saturday, March 8.

The victim was found on Alum Rock Road near College Road’s junction. He was discovered just before 8:45 p.m. on Friday, March 7, and is now in critical but stable condition in the hospital.

Police are calling this a very serious attack, and so far, nobody has been arrested. Police have increased patrols in the area and are still investigating the crime. Jim Mahon, from Birmingham Police, spoke about the seriousness of the attack.

The Major Crime Unit is working hard to find who did this, checking CCTV and doing other investigative work. More officers are in the area now, which, according to Mahon, helps people feel safer.

He asked people to share information, urging anyone who saw anything or has any footage from phones, doorbells, or dashcams to contact the police via Live Chat or by calling 101, referencing log 5354 from March 7 as soon as possible.
