Trains face disruption near Birmingham New Street after signal problems at Aston Station block lines towards Lichfield and Walsall.

Trains going towards Lichfield Trent Valley are affected. Also, trains to Bescot Stadium in Walsall are having issues. Everything’s blocked, sadly. Delays could last ’til 7:30 PM.
Your train might even get cancelled. The delay could also be about thirty minutes. National Rail says Aston’s signals are faulty.
They suggest checking your trip using their Journey Planner. Maybe you can get some money back. Keep your ticket, said National Rail.
Also, make notes of your journey. This helps if you make a claim. West Midlands Railways says the line is blocked.
They are looking at other transport now. More info should come later, they stated. Good news! You can use your train ticket on some buses.
National Express West Midlands will accept them. Services such as the 64 and X64 are included. Some others like 907 and X3 are too.
