A milkman’s van got stolen in Erdington, Birmingham. He was out on his delivery route. The theft occurred on Orphanage Road, near Erdington Leisure Centre, around 10:30 PM on Monday, February 17.

The milkman had just started his deliveries. His van was a Peugeot Expert, holding lots of milk and other things. The milkman got hurt trying to stop the thief; police confirmed this information.

Moo Fresh Ltd owns the stolen van. They emailed customers to say sorry, as deliveries were affected by the theft. A Moo Fresh person said someone jumped in the van on Edwards Road on Monday night. The van was almost full of goods.

It had about £800 of milk and groceries. Also inside were the driver’s phone and keys.
A tracker led police to Round Road, but the van was gone when they arrived.

West Midlands Police are investigating now. The van was stolen from Orphanage Road around 10:30 PM. The driver had minor injuries, police stated. They are checking CCTV from the area.
