A 62-year-old Birmingham man used hidden Wi-Fi clock cameras to film naked women. He received a suspended sentence.

His daughter found photos and videos on his laptop and reported him to the police. She was not one of the women filmed. Andrew admitted to two voyeurism charges in court, observing and recording private acts illegally. He received a suspended sentence.
The crimes occurred for ten months. Police found 181 photos and 32 videos on Andrew’s devices. The videos showed women showering and undressed. He recorded three women, and police identified one victim. She felt humiliated and violated, stating she could never trust men again.
His lawyer, Shabeer Qureshi, spoke in court, stating the crime impacted Andrew greatly. The lawyer said Andrew does not understand his actions and bought the items for a legal purpose, but they ended up in the bedroom. He regrets his actions and showed remorse.
The judge said it involved planning and was a serious breach of trust. The judge ordered rehabilitation and a curfew. Andrew must stay away from the victim for five years and must register as a sex offender for seven years. He must pay court costs and a victim fee.
