Firefighters tackled a severe house fire in Moseley, Birmingham. Crews from multiple stations responded and extinguished the blaze.

The fire service first sent four fire engine crews. They later increased that to six crews. Fire engines came from several areas, including Billesley, Bournbrook, and Kings Norton.
Hay Mills, Highgate, and Aston also sent help. The fire service posted an update on X (formerly Twitter). They initially told people to stay away from the area.
Later, they said the fire was in a bedroom on the first floor. The fire was severe, but all people got out safely. The fire was put out. Crews stayed to wet down the area to prevent reignition.
Eight firefighters used breathing apparatus to fight the flames. They used three hose reel jets to extinguish it. No injuries happened because of the fire. The fire’s cause is currently unknown. Investigators continue to look into it.
