A Birmingham drug dealer was caught after police found cocaine hidden in a children’s Mega Blok toy bag.

Reilly, age 40, lived in Harborne. He helped spread drugs in two regions: the West Midlands and the South West. Police investigated his drug supply operation, which involved cocaine and cannabis.
The police unit, ROCUWM, led the probe. It looked into Reilly’s actions in late 2020. They seized drugs and a large sum of money. Officers confiscated seven kilos of cocaine, 22 kilos of cannabis, and £40,000 in cash.
In 2020, police stopped a driver on October 28th in Taunton. They found four kilos of cocaine hidden inside a toy bag for kids. The bag had ‘Mega Blok’ branding.
Reilly admitted guilt last September. He was charged with drug conspiracy involving cocaine and cannabis. He received a 16-year prison sentence on February 14th.
DC Paul Lawlor led the police investigation. He said it was a big drug seizure and that Reilly played a key role in drug supply, sending drugs to the South West of England. Police will keep targeting organized crime, focusing on drug networks in the West Midlands. The police won’t tolerate drug dealing.
