Banned driver Marek Cicko caught driving again in Benwell, blocking traffic in front of police.

He was driving again, blocking traffic right in front of some police. They stopped him because he blocked the road. The police checked his ID but missed that he was banned from driving.
Two weeks later, they realized the mistake and arrested him at his house.
This guy is Marek Cicko, aged 35. He broke his driving ban last year, too, and is now facing jail time. He admitted to driving while banned, and his car also wasn’t insured.
The police saw Cicko’s Mercedes driving badly, right in front of them. He tried to turn right, blocking other cars and stopping traffic coming the other way.
The officer didn’t check his license properly then. Later, they learned about the driving ban and went to his home, where he confessed.
Cicko’s lawyer said he cooperated with the police. He also pleaded guilty in court. The judge delayed the sentence, needing a report first. He’s out on bail and must return to court on April 15.
