Three people tried to climb Tower Ridge. Tower Ridge is on Ben Nevis in Scotland. They got lost coming from Observatory Gully, and one broke a leg during the climb. A helicopter had to rescue them.

The incident happened on Thursday morning, and Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team helped. A video shows the rescue, where they strapped the injured climber to a stretcher. The helicopter then lifted the stretcher.

The team’s Facebook page shared the video, saying they helped two injured climbers. One climber had a lower leg fracture after falling while climbing, which left them on a steep, unsafe area.

Rescuers climbed Tower Ridge to reach them and lowered a rescuer to the trapped group. Afterward, they lowered the group to safety using a stretcher for the injured climber.

A helicopter took the injured climber to Inverness, and medics checked the climber in Fort William. The other two climbers walked down safely to the CIC hut. The team thanked everyone who helped.
