Belfast announces over two weeks of city-wide St Patrick’s Day events from March 1st to 17th with music, dance, and more.

The parade is on March 17th. It starts at City Hall at 1:30 pm. Expect costumes, music, dance, and theater. It goes through the city center. Schools and community groups will participate.
Belfast TradFest offers music from March 14th to 17th. This festival has concerts and workshops. A piping competition is set for March 15th. Top pipers compete for a prize.
Ticketed events include music at Empire and Mandela Halls. More music happens at Ulster Hall. Family fun closes the festival on March 17th. It features food and dancing.
Féile an Phobail provides music city-wide from March 10th to 17th. Over 100 trad sessions occur during that week. This highlights Ireland’s best musicians.
Spraoi Cois Lao is on March 8th at Custom House Square. It is a big Irish language family day. Expect climbing walls and face painting. Music and games are also planned.
Seachtain na Gaeilge runs from March 1st to 17th. This festival celebrates Irish language and culture. People can enjoy fun events. All levels are welcome.
