Drone footage reveals progress on the £160m Beaulieu Park Station project near Chelmsford, expected to open in late 2025.
The station is called Beaulieu Park Station. Building this is part of a big plan. They want to improve housing and transport. It’s the first new station in over a century! People think it will help the main Chelmsford station.
They began building two years ago. The station will have trains to London. Some tracks let faster trains go by. The station has three platforms. Buses will stop there too. There will be parking for 700+ cars.
Local groups, the government, and builders are paying. You can get to London quickly. It only takes 40 minutes to Liverpool Street. Trains will also go to other places.
A video shows the building progress. Benjamin Splarn took the video. The station looks almost done. They plan to open it by late 2025.
Julie Ross lives nearby. She thinks it will be great when it opens. She said it will help the main station. It also looks very nice, she added.
