Bath’s first Restaurant Week! Enjoy 9 days of deals, menus, and a charity waiter race. Sponsored by Angelo Poretti.

Restaurants can show off with dishes and deals. Taster menus and special offers are also included. Allison Herbert, CEO of Bath BID, said Bath offers great food and drink, highlighting the talented people in the city’s restaurants, their passion for good customer service, and top refreshments for locals and tourists.
These businesses keep Bath lively, serving six million visitors yearly. The event appreciates these establishments and gives them resources to showcase food and drinks, allowing restaurants to reach new customers during this week.
A waiters’ race will promote the new event and raise money for Hospitality Action. The race is at the Royal Crescent on April 7. Thirty-two waiter teams compete in relays, with no running permitted while racing!
Waiters must hold trays with water glasses, with winners judged on speed and technique. Hospitality Action helps hospitality workers, assisting chefs and concierges, for example. The charity took 30,000 calls since 2020 and provided 8,775 counseling sessions.
Mark Lewis, Chief Executive at Hospitality Action, said Bath has amazing restaurants. He believes Restaurant Week can highlight the city’s food scene, and that they are honored to be the event’s charity.
This event celebrates culinary talent and will raise funds for Hospitality Action. The waiters’ race will be exciting. Bath BID members get free Restaurant Week entry, while non-members have paid entry options.
Restaurants submit their deal or menu through Bath BID. The submission period ends March 14. Visit the website to buy a race team slot.
