Hey, guess what happened in Barrhead? Teens wearing balaclavas caused some serious trouble. They crashed a car on Oakbank Drive. It was around 4:30 pm last Thursday.

A black hatchback hit another car. The hatchback then flipped over, landing on its roof. The driver and passengers ran away, all wearing balaclavas, apparently.

One local, Lisa Cooper, shared her experience. She said the teens crashed into her daughter’s car and then just left it in the road. Lisa discovered the car was uninsured, meaning she has to pay for the damage herself.

Lisa posted about the incident on Facebook, noting the boys looked about 17 or 18. Pictures show the car upside down with debris everywhere on the road. You could even see tire marks on the street.

Lisa’s family thinks repairs will cost £1,000. She asked people to report the car if they recognize it and hopes injured teens might raise suspicion. Her daughter is only 18 and worked hard for that car. It will likely be a total loss, but she is just glad her daughter wasn’t in it, saying they could have killed someone driving that way!
