Three men appear in court after a street disturbance in Glasgow. One faces attempted murder charges, others assault.

Two men had facial injuries. Medics helped them there. Police then arrested both men, and five men got charged overall. Their ages are 59, 57, 54, 48, and 34.
John Channon, Derek Hendry, and Paul Began went to court. This happened today at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Channon is 57, Hendry is 48, and Began is 59.
Channon faces very serious charges, including attempted murder and assault. He also didn’t stop for a police officer while driving. He’ll stay in jail until his next court date.
Hendry and Began have lesser charges. They both face assault and abusive behaviour charges. Hendry also had an offensive weapon. Both are out on bail and will return to court later.
Police are still investigating the incident. Other court dates remain unconfirmed. Detectives want witnesses to come forward and ask people to share any information.
