Asda Shoppers Alert: Bank Cards Cloned at Alsager Cash Machine

Hey, listen to this! Police want shoppers to watch out. Someone put a card cloner on an Asda ATM. This happened at the Alsager store, and at least three people got their cards cloned.

Thieves cloned cards at the Lawton Road Asda. Then, they stole money from the victims’ accounts. Staff took the device off on February 6 and gave it to the police. Cops are checking CCTV footage of two suspects.

A police officer urges caution at all ATMs; be aware of your surroundings. Check for suspicious devices on the machine and watch out for people standing too close while you type.

Look for anything odd attached to the ATM, as some cloning devices look very obvious. If you see something, call the police. Tell the shop staff if the ATM is at a store.

Did you see anything weird near the machine before Feb 6? Call Cheshire Police at 101 or use their website instead. Quote number 25000086708. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously at 08000 555 111.
